The Italian economy in brief

From 20 October 2026, The Italian Economy in Brief will be published on the Statistics Portal. To ease the transition, until 31 December 2026 new reports will be available both here as PDFs and on the Portal as interactive HTML pages. Previous editions will remain available on this page.

'The Italian economy in brief', published around the tenth of each month, supplies data and statistics on current conditions and structural features of the Italian economic and financial systems. The publication contents have been extended and organized in seven sections: real economic activity, prices, foreign transactions, financial conditions of the private sectors, developments in the banking sector, the public finances, the inflation and growth forecasts released by Banca d'Italia and selected international institutions.
