Two Fintech surveys on intermediaries and on non-supervised operators

Banca d'Italia is publishing the results of two surveys dedicated to Fintech: the fifth edition of the Fintech Survey on the Italian financial system and the first edition of the Fintech Survey on non-supervised operators.

Taken together, the two surveys provide an overview of the national Fintech ecosystem. The first analyses investment projects and the strategies through which banks and non-bank financial intermediaries are adopting new technologies in their operating models. The second, addressed to non-supervised Fintech operators, examines the evolution of the sector by exploring business models, the technologies adopted, growth strategies and the impact of regulation.
