Credit supply and demand in the macro-regions, July 2026

This publication reports the main findings of the Regional Bank Lending Survey for the second half of 2025, conducted by Banca d'Italia's regional branches on a sample of 236 banks.

The survey examines the demand for loans by households and firms and the credit supply policies of banks. The analysis is disaggregated by geographical area and economic sector. It also reports some characteristics of household mortgages.
