Claudia Ciccodicola

Head of the Services and Logistics Directorate

Born in 1969, she is married with two children. Since March 2026, she has been Head of the Logistics and Services Directorate.

In 1993, she graduated with honours in Law from La Sapienza University of Rome, where she was awarded an IBM Foundation scholarship in Administrative Sciences, focusing on competition law and State aid. She continued her academic research at LUISS Guido Carli University, where she obtained a research grant for teaching and research activities in the field of independent administrative authorities. She later undertook a legal traineeship at the Office of the Attorney General of the State and was awarded a scholarship from the Arturo Carlo Jemolo Institute of Legal Studies in preparation for the legal profession and the judicial career. She qualified with full marks to practise as a lawyer.

She joined Banca d'Italia in 1996 and was assigned to Human Resources, where she developed a broad and varied career path - initially in professional roles and subsequently with positions of increasing responsibility - covering areas such as staffing needs analysis and planning, development of management systems, job mobility and skills allocation, pay analysis, external recruitment and internal advancement procedures.

She coordinated initiatives aimed at promoting innovative projects designed to enhance service quality for users and improve organizational well-being. She has taken part in numerous internal working groups and has dealt with internal communication on issues relevant to human resources management and inclusion. She has chaired recruitment selection boards and served as a member of the Equal Opportunities Committee and the Housing Committee of the Bank.

She also participated in several institutional cooperation fora with external bodies; in particular, she worked with the Department of Public Administration on issues relating to the measurement and evaluation of organizational and individual performance, chairing the relevant Technical Committee.

In 2021, she was appointed Deputy Head of the Human Resources Management Directorate, which oversees the operational processes of human resources management.

She is a member of the Italian Institute for Research on Public Administration (IRPA), founded by Sabino Cassese and his students, and is the author of academic publications on public employment. She has also been a speaker at internal and external courses and seminars on management-related topics.
