Workshop on the economic implications of climate change and the transition to a low-carbon economy

The Bank of Italy is organizing a workshop on the economic implications of climate change and the transition to a low-carbon economy. The event will be held in Rome on December 16 and 17, 2024. The conference will bring together academics and experts from national and international institutions to analyze the most topical issues.

The conference will examine the short and long-run effects of climate change, climate policies supporting the transition, implications for financial stability, portfolio strategies and green finance, energy security and critical materials, nature-related risks.

The deadline for submissions is ​extended to September 16, 2024.
