On 18 May Ignazio Visco, Deputy Director General of the Bank of Italy, addressed the Economic Forum 2011 - "Rethinking economic policy in Europe - A new era of EU economic governance" - on the subject of "EU economic governance framework in practice - ensuring its robustness", with a paper entitled "The new EU economic governance and market discipline".
