The process for appointing the new members of the Bank of Italy's Governing Board has been completed with the signing of the Presidential Decrees of 10 January 2020, registered by the State Audit Office on 22 January 2020.
Daniele Franco and Piero Cipollone have been appointed Senior Deputy Governor and Deputy Governor respectively, with both appointments effective as of 1 January 2020 for a period of six years.
In its current composition, the Governing Board comprises:
- Ignazio Visco, Governor
- Daniele Franco, Senior Deputy Governor and President of IVASS
- Luigi Federico Signorini, Deputy Governor
- Alessandra Perrazzelli, Deputy Governor
- Piero Cipollone, Deputy Governor
