Meeting between Banca d'Italia and the Bank of Albania

As part of the cooperation between Banca d'Italia and the central banks of the Western Balkans, Deputy Governor Chiara Scotti met in Rome with Holta Zaçaj, First Deputy Governor of the Bank of Albania.

Chiara Scotti and Holta Zaçaj discussed technical cooperation between the two institutions, focusing in particular on instant payment systems and on the collection, management and use of financial statistical data.

The meeting provided an opportunity to reaffirm the commitment of both central banks to continue their cooperation, including as part of ongoing projects and regional financial integration initiatives.
