First Supervision Conference 'Challenges of a Transforming Financial System'

Giuseppe Siani, Head of the Directorate General for Financial Supervision and Regulation of Banca d'Italia, spoke at the First Supervision Conference organized by the Central Bank of Argentina, entitled 'Challenges of a Transforming Financial System'.
His address, entitled 'Leveraging Technology: The Bank of Italy's SupTech Journey', provided a brief overview of the potential synergies and risks associated with the ongoing digital transformation of supervisory authorities, with a special focus on the development of artificial intelligence tools.
