Banca d'Italia's new photovoltaic system: another step towards carbon neutrality
Banca d'Italia's efforts to reduce its environmental footprint and improve energy efficiency continue.
The installation of the new photovoltaic system on the roof of one of the parking lots at the Donato Menichella Center (CDM) in Frascati has been completed.
The new system will be connected to the national high-voltage power grid and will be able to produce approximately 320 megawatt hours of electricity per year, with cost savings of around €70 thousand. It is the largest system installed by Banca d'Italia to date.
The Bank's energy sustainability efforts do not stop here: it plans to install additional photovoltaic systems both at the Donato Menichella Center and at other locations in the future.
