In keeping with its commitment to ensuring an equal and inclusive work environment, the Bank of Italy has launched a number of initiatives to celebrate International Women's Day.
On 10 March, it will co-host an event with the Italian National Council of Notaries to discuss the importance of legal and financial education for vulnerable women.
On 22 and 23 June, the Bank will hold a conference on 'Women, Work and Economic Growth' to encourage debate on gender gaps in the labour market, their repercussions on economic growth, and policies to reduce inequality.
The Bank has conducted several studies and analyses in English on gender issues including, most recently:
