9th Banca d'Italia-CEPR Workshop: Labour market policies and institutions

The ninth edition of the Labour economics workshop on 'Labour market policies and institutions' will take place in Rome on September 21-22, 2026. The event is organized annually by Banca d'Italia together with the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), and provides an opportunity for researchers working in the field of labour economics to present studies aimed at understanding the role of policies and institutions in shaping both labour supply and demand, as well as in matching workers to jobs.

The keynote lectures will be delivered by Barbara Petrongolo (University of Oxford and CEPR) and Erik Hurst (University of Chicago, Booth School of Business).
