The Bank of Italy and the Italian National Institute of Statistics (Istat) have organized the workshop on 'The long view: the demographic dividend in the analysis of the Italian economy'.
The workshop will be held on Tuesday 6 June 2023, from 3.00 pm onwards, at the 'Carlo Azeglio Ciampi' convention centre in Rome.
After greetings from the Governor, Ignazio Visco, and acting Istat President, Francesco Maria Chelli, the event will continue with presentations by experts and scholars of models and analyses regarding the role of demographics in Italy's economic growth.
Professor Gian Carlo Blangiardo will close the event with a speech on 'Resources, market, and welfare against the background of demographic chang'.
The workshop will be streamed live on the Bank of Italy's YouTube channel.
