The Activity and Sustainability Report gives an overview of the Bank's role and functions, provides an account of the activities carried out and the results achieved during the year, and addresses environmental, social and governance sustainability topics.

The Report, published starting in 2025 (covering the year 2024), replaces the previous Report on Operations and Activities of the Bank of Italy. It also incorporates the contents of Banca d'Italia. Functions and objectives (only in Italian) and the Environment Report, published up until 2024.

In addition to reorganizing and expanding on the information presented, the new publication has a new graphic layout that makes the contents more user friendly.

The Report fulfils the legal disclosure requirements - as did the Report on Operations and Activities of the Bank of Italy - laid down in Article 19 of Law 262/2005, as amended by Legislative Decree 303/ 2006, and, as far as banking and non-banking supervisory activity is concerned, in compliance with Article 4 of the Consolidated Law on Banking (Legislative Decree 385/1993).
