The Annual Report describes the activities of the European System of Central Banks (ESCB) and reports on the Eurosystem's monetary policy of the previous year.
It is presented to the European Parliament, as well as to the Council of the European Union, the European Commission and the European Council.
The Annual Report includes the Annual Accounts of the ECB. These are temporarily available as a separate document several weeks before the Annual Report.
The EurosystemThe Eurosystem is the system of central banks of the euro area responsible for conducting the single monetary policy. It comprises the European Central Bank (ECB) and the national central banks (NCBs) of the EU member states that have adopted the euro.
