Environment report - 2020

The Bank of Italy has published its Environmental Report annually since 2010. This edition contains a preface by the Governor in which, after mentioning the external frame of reference and the role that central banks can play nowadays, he confirms the Bank's commitment to environmental sustainability. A series of infographics are included to highlight the results achieved over the last ten years. The report also describes the projects carried out in the fields of energy, water, waste, sustainable mobility, green procurement, sustainable investment, biodiversity and to promote a more environment-friendly culture.
