A packed calendar of events for the third edition of Financial Education Month

October is Financial Education Month, an initiative promoted by the Committee for the Planning and Coordination of Financial Education Activities. 'Financial choices at the time of COVID-19', is the theme for 2020.

The Bank of Italy takes part in the initiative with a calendar of online events for adults and young people. We'll be talking about financial choices for women, the secure use of electronic payments, and about how literature and the cinema look at economic and financial issues. To find out more, visit the Economics for all portal during this month.

Financial Education Month opens with a livestreamed talk on the importance of financial education at the time of COVID-19. There will be several dates to talk about current affairs and raise useful questions to highlight the opportunities for households and firms, and some days will be dedicated to looking further into insurance and pensions.

The programme ends in the first week of November with World Investor Week. The full calendar of events is available on QuelloCheConta, the national portal for financial, insurance and pension education.
