The European framework for cross-border dialogue and cooperation between national supervisory authorities in charge of managing regulatory sandboxes is becoming operational over the course of 2022.
Under this framework, companies can test their innovative products/services in multiple European jurisdictions and/or signal their interest for National Authorities from multiple Member States to be involved in testing activities and to be given access to the results.
The framework does not constitute a "European sandbox" for EU-wide testing and does not affect the national provisions governing the operation of sandboxes in each country.
