Notice concerning the 2017 contribution to the Single Resolution Fund

The forms and documentation relating to the collection of the data needed to calculate the 2017 contribution to the Single Resolution Fund have been made available.

The intermediaries concerned will find attached to this notice the template in English prepared by the Single Resolution Board for the data collection process, the instructions on how to fill in and submit the template, an Italian-language version of the template with instructions, and two documents prepared by the Single Resolution Board containing further instructions (naming conventions and additional guidance).

The banks under the direct supervision of the ECB (‘significant banks’ in the Single Resolution Mechanism) must submit to the Resolution and Crisis Management Unit, by certified e-mail (rgc@pec.bancaditalia.it) and no later than 1 March 2017, confirmation of the data reported to the Bank of Italy for the calculation of the 2017 contribution to the Single Resolution Fund.

To this end, the banks concerned must obtain a statement from their own representatives or from an auditor. The statement may be prepared by using the attached document prepared by the Single Resolution Board for this purpose.
