This section contains indicators of particular interest for historical and economic analysis. The historical statistics are divided into two main topics 'Economy' and 'Money, banking and finance'. A space is dedicated to micro-data and other large archives and another section to historical statistics drawn from external publications and studies.
The data accessible in this section are the result of reconstructions carried out by the Authors (Bank of Italy researchers and other scholars) of publications listed along with data and do not involve the responsibility of the Bank.
