These papers, aimed at the research community, publish the studies conducted by Banca d'Italia's researchers or presented by external speakers at seminars held in the Bank. The intention is to make a contribution to academic debate and to receive comments and suggestions that will help further these studies, possibly leading to their publication in academic journals.
The research papers are selected by the editorial committee. The choice of subject and methods of investigation reflect the interests of the researchers.
