The Banks and Financial Institutions: Financing and Funding by Sector and Geographical Area report, updated quarterly on the Statistics Portal, contains data on loans granted to customers by banks and Cassa Depositi e Prestiti S.p.A. (CDP) and on funding; data on other financial intermediaries are also available.

Time series data are available in the Statistical Database (BDS); information on the methodology is available in Methods and Sources: Methodological Notes.
