- towards an enhanced European System of Central Banks (ESCB) dialogue with Africa

This event is part of the ESCB Pilot Project with several African countries, funded by the European Commission. Experts from the central banks of Angola, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania, and Tunisia, as well as from the Banque Centrale des États de l'Afrique de l'Ouest (BCEAO) and the Banque des États de l'Afrique Centrale (BEAC), participate in the initiative. The event also benefits from the cooperation of Banco de España and Národná banka Slovenska.

    For over 20 years, the Bank of Italy has been organizing staff training activities and consultancy with central banks and similar institutions in the emerging countries. Through its international technical cooperation work, the Bank of Italy helps to strengthen the institutional capacities of the beneficiary institutions, in part in order to promote international financial stability.
