EU-funded programme: strengthening financial stability, resilience and governance

In the framework of its International Technical Cooperation activities, Banca d'Italia will host in Rome the training event: 'Banking supervision' from 2 to 4 December.

The event is a component of the ESCB Pilot Project with some African countries, financed by the European Commission.

    For over 20 years, the Bank of Italy has been organizing staff training activities and consultancy with central banks and similar institutions in the emerging countries. Through its international technical cooperation work, the Bank of Italy helps to strengthen the institutional capacities of the beneficiary institutions, in part in order to promote international financial stability.
