Banca d'Italia to take part in the 2026 edition of 'è cultura!'
Culture takes you where you would like to be
Banca d'Italia is taking part in the 'è cultura!' national festival this year too; it is being promoted by ABI and ACRI from 16 to 24 October and invites the public to discover the cultural heritage preserved by banks and banking foundations, reflecting their deep-rooted ties with local areas and their communities and history.
Banca d'Italia's library heritage: past, present and future
By opening some of its buildings to the public, Banca d'Italia offers visitors the opportunity to explore places of historical, artistic and architectural interest and to learn more about the institution. This year, there is a particular focus on its library heritage: libraries are not simply places where books are preserved, but spaces where the institution safeguards both its memory and the resources for knowledge that help us understand the present and look to the future.
Admission is free and by reservation only.
