Law 262/2005 on the protection of savings requires that the Bank of Italy submit for public consultation new regulations or amendments to existing legislation.
The documents are published in this section of the website; as a rule people have 60 days to submit comments and proposals.
At the end of each consultation the Bank of Italy publishes a report on the comments received, its own considerations, and the final version of the text, all of which remain available on the Bank’s website.
