The seminar will illustrate the characteristics and potential of TIPS from a policy, design, operation and procedural point of view, in the context of the developments taking place at the European level in the retail sector of the payment systems.

The seminar will benefit from Banca d'Italia's leading role in TIPS, since our Institution has developed, as a single provider, the TIPS platform for the settlement of instant payments and has full responsibility for its evolution and operation on behalf of the Eurosystem.
