"Art collection and property management in Banca d'Italia"26-27 May 2021

During the webinar, the Bank of Italy will illustrate its policy for the management of its cultural and real estate assets, also in light of its social responsibilities and in the awareness of the importance of these assets for Italy's cultural values and its identity.

The participants will learn about how the works of art in the Bank's collections are safeguarded, managed and promoted, and the administrative strategies for its properties. In both areas, the Bank has delivered on important objectives, in synergy with Italy's foremost cultural institutions and in line with European and national legislation on transparency, equality of treatment and efficiency. The webinar will also examine the principles of safekeeping underpinning the management of these assets.
