Seminar The Quality of Banknote Circulation and Banca d'Italia Monitoring Activity on Professional Cash Handlers(Rome, 21 - 23 October 2015)

The 2015 International Technical Cooperation programme of Banca d’Italia continues with a seminar on the quality of banknote circulation.

The seminar will take an overview of the Italian cash cycle and the role of a central bank in preserving the quality of banknote circulation as well as a description of the Eurosystem regulations and their implementation in Italy. Participants will be introduced to Banca d’Italia monitoring of professional cash handlers (off-site and on-site) with a special focus on on-site inspections.

Participation is by invitation only and is reserved to central banks of new EU Member States, EU candidates and potential candidates, countries included in the EU's neighborhood policy and other emerging economies.
