Seminar Innovation, Retail Payment Instruments and Systems: Market Developments, Regulatory Initiatives and Effects on OversightRome, 18-20 November 2015

The 2015 International Technical Cooperation programme of Banca d’Italia continues with the seminar devoted to market tendencies and regulatory initiatives aimed at steering the development of the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA).

The seminar will draw attention to the standardization and harmonization of the chief traditional payment instruments and infrastructures, highlighting the effects of the technological innovation and its impact on public payments. The role of oversight authorities at European and national level will also be illustrated.

Participation is by invitation only and is reserved to central banks of new EU Member States, EU candidates and potential candidates, countries included in the EU's neighborhood policy and other emerging economies.
