Financial Literacy of Young Adults in Italy

The Bank of Italy conducted a sample survey on the financial literacy and digital financial skills of young adults in 2023. The survey involved a sample of over 5,000 individuals aged between 18 and 34, representative of the reference population.

The main results are presented in the report "Surveys on Financial Literacy and Digital Financial Skills in Italy: Young Adults" by M. Marinucci, M. Stacchini, and F. Travaglino, Statistics, Bank of Italy. The row data will be distributed anonymously for research purposes later.

2023 Survey

The 2023 survey involved a sample of almost 5,400 individuals aged 18-34 years resident in Italy. The survey was conducted in the first quarter using online interviews (Computer-Assisted Web Interviewing).
