According to the survey of 1,269 real estate agents, carried out between January 13 and February 10, the share of agencies that sold at least one property in the fourth quarter rose again, to levels close to those of one year ago. Most agents report that prices are substantially stable compared with the previous quarter, one-third report a decrease in prices. Assessments of demand conditions and new listings worsened; the time on market stabilized while the average discount on asking prices increased slightly. The finding that, after the outbreak of the pandemic, the average size of houses sold increased was confirmed.

Expectations improved, both for agents' own markets and for the national market, although they remain overall pessimistic. Most agents expect the epidemic to have negative effects on housing demand and selling prices; for slightly less than one third, these effects are expected to persist until mid-2022.
