On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the adoption of Regulation (EU) No 1024/2013 (SSM Regulation), the Bank of Italy's Legal Services Directorate, the Roma Tre University and the Paolo Ferro-Luzzi "Grandangolo" Research Centre decided to promote a commemorative conference held in October 2023 in Rome, hosted by the Bank of Italy.
The initiative represented a precious opportunity for discussion between the Academy and the EU and national Institutions on the various legal issues that the SSM has raised in its first ten years of operation, under the profiles, among others, of the relations between its component authorities, its place in the European institutional framework and administrative and judicial protection arrangements, as well as an investigation of the current remedies and future prospects.
This issue of the Quaderni di Ricerca Giuridica collects the contributions presented in the context of that conference.
