In September 2023, the Bank of Italy has hosted the premier workshop on peer-to-peer (P2P) financial systems, organised with the University College London, in partnership with the DLT Science Foundation.

The event fosters dialogue among industry practitioners, regulatory experts, and academic scholars interested in the evolution of the P2P finance. It provides a platform to share research findings, policy analysis, and other insights.
