The purpose is to show how financial accounts may be used in a wide range of fields. Financial accounts, produced for Italy by the Banca d'Italia, cover all financial transactions and financial balance sheet positions of households, non-financial corporations, financial corporations and general government, as well as their relations with the rest of the world.
