The knowledge of the role carried out from the digital technologies in the advanced economies is spread out.
There is wide evidence of the impact of the Information and Communication Technologies on firms’ productivity. While in the United States technical progress speeded up between 1995 and 2001, in Europe the effects of the new technological paradigm are manifested with minor rapidity.
In Italy evidence is not clear. Indicators improve, however, they are still below the European average.
The workshop tackles this issues. Speakers include members of the entrepreneurial world, the banking sector and the Public Administration.
