The Bank of Italy is organizing its annual Public Finance Workshop. The next edition - the twenty-second - will be held in Rome on 5 and 6 September 2024. The conference will bring together academics and experts from national and international institutions to analyze the most topical and policy-relevant issues in public finance.
The conference will examine fiscal policies, taking into account the different dimensions of their sustainability: economic, social, environmental. More specifically, we encourage the submission of papers on the challenges for public finances in a context characterized by high debts, ageing populations, wide-ranging technological, climatic, and geopolitical changes.
Proposals should be submitted by May 31, 2024, according to the Call for papers.
