On 6 March 2025, from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon CET, Banca d'Italia will hold a workshop for all operators interested in applying for the authorization to act as a 'credit servicer'.
Following the entry into force of the Provisions concerning credit servicers under the Secondary Markets Directive (SMD), operators can formally submit an application in compliance with European and national regulations.
During the workshop, clarifications will be provided on the information and documents to be attached as well as on the timing and procedures for submitting authorization requests.
