During its analysis activities, the Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) of Bank of Italy detected many attempts to spread malicious attachments via emails that bear in the signature the Bank of Italy references (postal address, telephone number and fax).
Please note that neither the sender nor the text of the email with the attachment are in any way authorized by the Bank of Italy; we hereby invite you not to trust these messages and not to open the attachment.
