Governor Fabio Panetta, as Chair of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) Committee on Payments and Market Infrastructures (CPMI), delivered the closing remarks today at the G20 seminar on 'Enhancing cross-border payments in sub-Saharan Africa'. The event took place during the meeting of Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors held in Cape Town, South Africa.
