The ECB publishes the second study on consumer payment habits in the euro area

The European Central Bank (ECB) published today the second study on the payment attitudes of consumers in the euro area (SPACE II), conducted between 2021 and 2022. The report presents the main findings of the study and compares them with those of the similar study carried out in 2019 and, as far as possible, with a previous survey conducted in 2016 on the use of cash by households in the euro area (SUCH).
