The 2026 Winter Olympic Games and international tourism flows

Banca d'Italia today publishes the note titled 'An analysis of international tourism flows related to the 2026 Winter Olympic Games' in the 'Methods and Sources: Special Topics' section of its Statistics series. The note draws on data from the Bank's Survey on International Tourism to assess the impact of the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games on inbound tourism to Italy.
