Survey on Inflation and Growth Expectations - quarterly bulletin 2016 Q4

The Bank of Italy and the newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore conduct a quarterly survey on inflation and growth expectations. The report is published in the new ‘Statistics’ series.

The results of the survey, conducted in December 2016 on a sample of Italian firms with 50 or more employees, indicate a slight recovery in the fourth quarter across almost all sectors: the improvement in the outlook for 2017 is more evident in relation to price developments, demand and investment; expectations for employment and financial conditions remain stable.
