Giuseppe Siani, Head of the Directorate General for Financial Supervision and Regulation, spoke at a roundtable discussion on 'Cyber Risk and the Financial System' during the 'Sadibaquarantotto' conference organized by Associazione per lo Sviluppo degli Studi di Banca e Borsa (ASSBB) in collaboration with Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan. His speech on 'Technological innovation, operational resilience and supervisory activities' addressed the issue of technological innovation in the financial system, its implications for ICT and cyber risk, and the related topic of banks' operational resilience, also in light of the implementation of DORA.
