Sixth ASE Annual Meeting

The Bank of Italy is co-organizing and hosting the Sixth Annual Meeting of the Associazione per la Storia Economica (ASE). The meeting will take place on 17 and 18 September 2021 in hybrid format at the Carlo Azeglio Ciampi Centre for Monetary and Financial Education in Rome and online. The Governor of the Bank of Italy will give an introductory speech honouring the scientific legacy of Professor Stefano Fenoaltea, a prominent economic historian who passed away one year ago. The Keynote Lecture, entitled 'Incentives, Institutions, and Industrialization: A Prelude to Modern Economic Growth', will be given by Professor Joel Mokyr (Northwestern University).
