Results of the 2021 EU-wide stress test exercise

The European Banking Authority (EBA) has published today the results of the stress test conducted jointly by the European Banking Authority (EBA) and the European Central Bank (ECB) on the largest European banking groups.

In particular, the EBA has published the results of the exercise on the 38 largest EU banking groups (for Italy: Unicredit, Intesa Sanpaolo, MPS, Banco BPM, and Mediobanca), while the ECB has published information on the results relating to a further 51 banks subject to the Single Supervisory Mechanism (SSM) that are under its direct supervision but are not included in the EBA sample (for Italy: Banca Popolare di Sondrio, Credem and Carige).
