October is Financial Education Month. 'Take care of your future' is the theme of the fourth edition

The initiative is promoted by the Committee for the Planning and Coordination of Financial Education Activities.

On 1 October, the Bank of Italy kicks off Financial Education Month 2021 from the Salone Margherita Theatre in Rome.

Paolo Calabresi, host and moderator, will talk with Piero Cipollone, Deputy Governor of the Bank of Italy, and Magda Bianco, Head of the Bank of Italy’s Directorate General for Consumer Protection and Financial Education. Guests will include students, entrepreneurs, athletes, and artists, namely: actor Lillo, Olympic champion Alessandra Sensini, fencer Irene Vecchi, Paralympic athlete Eleonora De Paolis, and entrepreneurs Paolo Gentilini and Alessandra De Caro. They will join in the discussion on the financial culture and how raising awareness of this issue can help us work towards a more tranquil future and greater individual and collective well-being.

The event will be streamed at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, 1 October, on the Bank of Italy's website and YouTube channel, on the website of the Committee for the Planning and Coordination of Financial Education Activities, and on the Bank of Italy's financial education portal L'Economia per tutti.

The Financial Education Month calendar is filled with numerous events and appointments for families and businesses to explore the topics of financial education, insurance, and social security.
