The Bank of Italy has published the new code of ethics applicable to the members of the bodies operating in the context of the early intervention measures or other crisis management procedures relating to banks and other supervised financial intermediaries, who are appointed by the Bank of Italy in its role as Supervisory or Resolution Authority.
The code, updated according to the current regulatory and institutional framework for the management of problematic situations, sets out the values and core principles that the members of the bodies shall observe in performing their functions as well as in dealing with the Authority and with third parties.
