The Bank of Italy's Board of Directors, acting on a proposal of the Governor and pursuant to its Statute, held an extraordinary meeting and appointed Fabio Panetta, already a member of the Governing Board, as Senior Deputy Governor.
The Board of Directors also appointed Daniele Franco and Alessandra Perrazzelli as Deputy Governors.
The appointments will be effective as of 10 May 2019
