Memorandum of Understanding between Bank of Italy and the Bank of Korea in the field of IT and payment systems

Bank of Italy and the Bank of Korea signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen cooperation on IT and payment systems.

Specifically, the MoU provides for the mutual exchange of knowledge and information on ICT technologies that support Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) systems and the Central Bank Digital Currency.

Luigi Federico Signorini, Senior Deputy Governor of the Bank of Italy, also attended the meeting and signed the MoU.
